What is a Ridge Vent?
A ridge vent is a type of roof exhaust vent. It is designed to ventilate the attic along the ridge or hip line where the roof deck has been cut back.
You’ll probably hear it described as is. Like many phrases in roofing, it isn’t one that the average consumer hears of frequently, but is a term that roofers will use regularly.
