With his strong work ethic and high standards, Tim had become a skilled roofer able to work with a variety of materials such as slate, tile and wood shakes. In addition to specialty materials, he offered a wide range of asphalt shingles, the most common roofing material. His commitment to roofing and dedication to working long hours with complex roofing materials allowed KTM Roofing to flourish.
The demand for skilled roofers increased throughout the 1990s, culminating in the 1996 Summer Olympic Games held in Atlanta. Prior to this historic event, many older homes underwent countless renovations and improvements to beautify the city. KTM Roofing began as a family business and remains a family business 40 years later. When Tim McLoughlin began looking for someone to take over his commercial side of the business, he knew he needed someone with the same strong work ethic and high standards that he founded his company on. Through his search, the name Chris Russell kept coming up. After just one phone call, Tim knew Chris Russell would be the one. After eight years of working under Tim’s supervision, he stepped back to let Chris handle operations as the CEO of KTM Roofing.
Chris has continued Tim’s legacy by maintaining the high standards and dedication to quality that KTM Roofing is known for. He also brought a new perspective, expanding KTM Roofing’s commercial side and continuing to raise roofing standards throughout Atlanta.
KTM Roofing has grown steadily because we still operate under the strong work ethic and high standards it was founded on.
